About Studio YQ

Studio YQ is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Bahrain, working across architecture, interiors, product design, and installations.

As the design arm of the Yousif Qassim Art Centre, established in 1993, the studio builds on decades of experience in crafting carefully curated environments and moments.

Our work begins with how a space or object is encountered. We design by considering movement, proportion, material, light, and use as interconnected elements, shaping environments that feel deliberate and deeply considered rather than purely stylistic.

From concept through execution, Studio YQ approaches each project with a strong sense of authorship and intent. The result is work that balances clarity and depth, allowing spaces to be experienced personally and over time.
